- This output (from research funded through EU project SoBigData) addresses an important problem of analysis the coordinated movement trajectories of, for example, football players. The paper was presented at EuroVis (Eurographics/IEEE Symposium on Visualization), a leading EU venue in the discipline area, and received an honorable mention award. Results of the paper motivated creation of a strong collaboration network of data scientists and football practitioners that aim to establish scientific foundations for football analytics.
