- The results of this paper, demonstrating a fundamentally new way of modelling turbines in engine systems, have formed the basis for two subsequent research grants on turbocharging: Thomson (EU H2020, GA 724037, £515k) and Trident (APC/Innovate UK - £1.6m). This paper produced the first results from the dynamic turbocharger test facility constructed through the £800k EPSRC Knowledge Transfer Account / Jaguar Land Rover / Ford / Cummins Air Charge Management Turbocentre.
