- In this paper a rigorous theory for description of coherent effects in mode-locked lasers has been presented filling a gap in the literature lasting since pioneering works of Herman Haus. The paper presents experimental validation of the theory. This work resulted in follow on international collaborations with Prof. S. Barland (Université de Nice, France), Prof. De Valcarcel (Universitat de Valencia, Spain) and Prof. F. Prati (Università dell’Insubria, Italy) and an Invited talk at the prestigious CLEO Europe 2021 conference.
