- This paper was the result of a PhD thesis at AUT University, Iran. The work won the best doctoral thesis award in aerospace Engineering in the country. In this paper, for the first time in the world, a novel efficient numerical solution was proposed for beam-structures. On the strength of this work the author obtained a postdoctoral position in the college of Engineering at Swansea University on a European funded project on shape adaptive blades for rotorcraft efficiency.
