- Concealment of the time-delay (TD) signature and broad bandwidth are both important for chaos applications, such as secure optical communications and random number generation. This paper reports the comprehensive investigation of characteristics of chaos generation in four different configurations, which has attracted the attention of many research groups. We demonstrate that chaos generated with two schemes can achieve the chaos with wide bandwidth and TD signature concealment simultaneously. This work led to an invited talk in Taiyuan University of Technology and a new collaboration with Prof Hong Lin (hlin@bates.edu) from Bates College, USA in exploring time-delay signature of chaos.
