- This paper proposes a novel approach for texture segmentation and is the culmination of three conference papers. The work in this paper led to further collaborations with Southampton General Hospital (Dr. Bennett and Prof. Conway) on lung CT scan Analysis for COPD diagnosis as evidenced by a journal paper (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cviu.2020.102931 ) and three more conference papers (https://doi.org/10.1109/MIPR.2019.00045, https://doi.org/10.1109/ICIP.2019.8803752, https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-319-95921-4_16 .
