- User-fairness is a key challenge to fully exploit 6G and beyond. This paper presents a novel low-complexity optimal resource allocation technique with different user fairness levels. Continuation of this work resulted in 6 IEEE Transactions and 4 conference articles. The work led to collaborations with the SCiML group at Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) working on AI for science (Contact: STFC project lead). Dr. Cumanan was invited to act as lead guest editor for an IEEE OJ-COMS special issue: Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access for 5G and Beyond. https://www.comsoc.org/publications/journals/ieee-ojcoms/cfp.
