- This output is a book of 491 pages, comprising editions and translations of two ninth-century Arabic anti-Christian works. David Thomas is co-author, with responsibility for the biographical introduction and critical introductions to the refutations, and for the translations. The Arabic editions of the two works are based on all the known manuscripts (including an important witness discovered during the course of research), while the biography has been assembled from a range of medieval Arabic sources. Written with an Arabic speaker in Australia, with meetings held intermittently, the book took 3 years to complete.
