- This is the outcome of a 4-year industry-funded collaboration with SAP on resource consumption estimation based on response time measurements. The method was patented jointly with SAP (US Patent US9804943B2, granted in 2017). The technique is validated against Business Suite, SAP's flagship ERP product. This work is a major extension of our IEEE MASCOTS 2013 paper (acceptance rate: 27%/163; runner-up for Best Paper; https://doi.org/10.1109/MASCOTS.2013.10). Regression methods from this paper were integrated by Kounev's group at U. Wurzburg in the well-cited LibReDE tool in collaboration with us and VMware (https://doi.org/10.1145/2568088.2576093).
