- This paper led to a collaboration on power system measurements with Polytechnic of Milan, Italy, (sergio.toscani@polimi.it) and University of Cagliari, Italy, (paolo.pegoraro@unica.it). This work is relevant to the development of international standards for measurements in smart power systems, and it is achieving impact through Dr Ferrero?s consequent involvement in: 1) a joint IEC-TC38/IEEE-TC39 working group to develop international standards for the calibration of measurement instruments in power systems (IEC/IEEE Technical Report 61869-105); 2) a UK-wide research consortium (UKRI Grant: EP/S031863/1, ?8M) funded within the ?Prospering from the Energy Revolution? Government?s Challenge.
