- This paper describes device development from material science to ex-vivo testing and led directly to industrial funding (Stryker Neurosurgery, UofG contract 302016) for research to explore intraoperative differentiation of cancerous tissue from healthy brains. A further project, supported by an EPSRC Platform Grant (EP/P027415/1, Safetarget explored an alternative application in epidural needle guidance with the NHS.
