- This work was the result of manufacturing and applications of nanostructured materials funded by MANAMO EU FP7 project. The project led to enhancing new methods and products used directly by the twelve industrial. The research was fundamental on characterization of nanostructure, and lightweight and longer-life composite materials. New results were obtained using nanomaterials for high-performance polymers for transportation and an innovative technique for 3D characterization at the nanoscale. The work was supported by the European FP7-People-ITN-2010 with a consortium of 12 partners. A multidisciplinary approach was adapted encompassing chemistry, physics, instrumentation, computational modelling, engineering and product design.
