- This work, in collaboration with two visiting researchers from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Taiyuan University of Technology, demonstrates that the time-delay signature can be totally concealed using three three-cascaded VCSELs. The paper has been cited by several groups in China (Jiaotong University, Chongqing University of Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University) and the USA (Georgia Tech). It also resulted in a funded 16 months international collaborative project with Chenpeng Xue from UESTC, supported by China Scholarship Council. The work was originally funded by the Sêr Cymru National Research Network in Advanced Engineering and Materials (NRN158, PI: Hong, £59,901)
