- This paper was informed by a task in the Collaborative EU research project GREAT(grant agreement 321480; Budget: € 1 780 570) to develop a systematic tool to understand and identify stakeholder requirements when developing guidelines. The tool has subsequently been successfully applied within our EU PROGRESSIVE project (Grant agreement 727802; Budget € 905 781,25 ) at DMU (a follow up paper in process) which shows that the tool can be adapted and applied across different disciplines. The tool provides a new, rigorous and systematic way to understand and identify what is needed in the process of creating guidelines for practice.
