- This research is demonstrated to be capable of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the supply of domestic energy by three quarters. The work published led to further funding from the Norwegian Research Council (257632/E20) of 330k GBP to extend the concepts to industrial energy systems as part of a large collaboration between the Norwegian Research Council and industry in Norway (https://www.sintef.no/en/projects/higheff/). A follow-up project has been funded by the Norwegian Science Council (257632/E20).
