- Reports a novel compressive-advection method for interface tracking in multi-fluids flow dynamics. The method was embedded into the open-source Fluidity-ICFERST model-software (http://multifluids.github.io/). The work was funded by the EPSRC/MEMPHIS (EP/K003976/1), EU-FP7/THIN,S and EU-FP7/GoFastR programme grants. Outcome of collaborative work between groups from the University of Aberdeen and Imperial College. Findings reported in this article has already led to a few ongoing projects (e.g. vortex-interface in transient turbulent jets, flow dynamics in surfactant solutions, multi-scale air-saliva transport models for SARS-CoV-2 studies).
