- Double-weighted statement
- This 65000 word book involved 500+ hours of qualitative interviews conducted over three years with 90 students from working-class and middle-class backgrounds attending the two universities in Bristol; augmented by a survey (n=2124) plus statistical data on the student, staff, and research profiles and histories of the two institutions. The book provides significant insights into the uneven playing field of HE beyond issues of access. Ingram conducted 70% of the interviews, directed the analysis, and worked jointly with Bathmaker on the curation of each chapter. She co/wrote three chapters, and edited and peer reviewed the other five.
