- An important step towards sustainable ICT , this original work was the first to propose a novel energy efficient optimisation framework, mathematical modelling analysis and implementation algorithms for Green Wireless Communication Systems with new consideration of practical imperfect channel state information and data outage effects. Our closed-form mathematical equations with numerical validation ensure rigorous evaluation. Funded under an EPSRC standard grant, this work, published in IEEE JSAC helped explore findings and generated successful follow-on 900K euros H2020 ATOM proposal and £300K EPSRC SWIFT proposal.
