- Proposed double-weighted
- Yes
- Double-weighted statement
- Double-weighting based on multiple criteria of ‘extended scale and scope’: production of a longer-form output (512 pages); generation of extended complex piece of research (culmination of 3 year-long British Academy fellowship, Duckworth); collection and analysis of a large body of material (analytical interpretation of a database of >4000 examples of published chemical data on glass – Chapter 10); presentation of a critical insight dependent upon the completion of a lengthy period of data collection (on the part of authors of multiple chapters, and in the conclusions); and the investigation of a given theme in considerable depth.
- Reserve for an output with double weighting
- No
- Additional information
- Duckworth is the lead editor on this co-edited book, which is the culmination of research undertaken during a 3 year-long British Academy fellowship; Duckworth authored Chapter 10, co-authored Chapter 1 and Chapter 15 (Intro and conclusions) and undertook editing to cross-referenced and integrate all chapters, stemming from intense communication between the authors of different chapters, prior to, during, and after a 2-day workshop, exemplified in the concluding chapter.
