- Outcome of collaboration with Profs Wanjing Luo and Lei Wang (China University of Geosciences) and Dr Junlei Wang (Petroleum China Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development). Proposes an alternative boundary element method for simulating transient groundwater flow in a confined fractured aquifer. The method has already been adopted by researchers from the Pennsylvania State University (Dr. Wei Zhang) to study the hydrocarbon production from multi-fractured horizontal wells.
