- As co-editor for this collection I was responsible for commissioning and briefing authors. Along with my co-editor I wrote a critical introduction setting out the key themes and theoretical framework for the study. The volume brought together scholars and practitioners from multiple disciplines, and broke new ground in examining the contemporary vogue for real life narratives alongside the emergence of a new kind of celebrity culture. The editors shared responsibility for coordinating the peer review process and organising chapters into coherent sections, and as lead editor I was responsible for ensuring consistency in terms of style, tone and methodology for the collection. In addition, I contributed a sole authored chapter, the first study of its kind to analyse the phenomenon of Real Person Fiction in depth, providing a major reference point for subsequent studies.
