- Additional information
- This is a fundamental paper in the area of fluid/structure interactions and specifically Vortex Induced Vibrations, presenting the results of the project supported by the National Subsea Research Institute (NSRI) UK. The proposed model can be used for evaluating the structure behaviour of risers and pipelines to improve the design and service life assessment. Attracted significant interest from groups from Brazil (Guerra, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), China (Xiaodong Zhang, Southwest Petroleum Univ), Malaysia (A Rahman, Malaysia Terengganu Univ) and India (Wahi, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur).
