- This monograph contains extensive original research into how to respond to violence involving young people and youth work's role in responding to youth violence. The book combines elements of critical theory, psychosocial criminology and applied existential philosophy to present a new model for responding meaningfully and effectively to these issues, demonstrated through a series of case studies and insider accounts generated through peer research. It draws on the findings of a two-year participatory research project across Bradford, London, Graz (Austria) and Kohn (Germany) funded through the European Commission.
