- A bottleneck in the analysis of Blockchain systems has been the lack of a rigorous model that combines the strengths of game-theoretic analysis with the rigour and constructive approach of cryptographic theory. This interdisciplinary work puts forth and showcases a framework for the analysis of such systems. The work was accepted at a top tier cryptography venue (EUROCRYPT 2018, acceptance rate 23.5%). The existence of such a framework is quintessential for the progress of the related research and can provide a collaboration ground for game theory and cryptography. This paper is highly-cited, for a theoretical paper.
