- In this paper, a new Geographic routing protocol is introduced for mobile wireless sensor networks. It utilises location awareness, blind forwarding and multiple path techniques for high reliability and low latency requirements of emerging autonomous land, sea or air vehicle applications. Analytical expressions are derived for different performance metrics and evaluated against extensive simulations and analysis. The results showed both its high performance in challenging environments and superiority over state-of-the-art. It has led to further protocol developments and practical implementations. This work is supported by EPSRC, and has received the IET Premium Award 2017 for the best paper.
