- The study was undertaken as part of a larger efforts to establish a common CFD code for a wide range of applications. CFD tolls developed were embedded in in-house unstructured CFD code. The code designed was successfully used in mechanical, aerospace and automotive applications. The key findings and conclusions of the study were welcomed by the aerospace industry at the EUROMECH Fluids Mechanics Conference (2017, Vienne, Austria). Dr Volkov was granted by the travel grant to attend this conference.
