- Double-weighted statement
- This 212-page monograph represents eight years of research and is the first to explore representations of iconoclasm in museums. With academic content equivalent to 7 journal articles/ book chapters, it presents research into objects of iconoclasm undertaken in twenty museums and archives in the US, UK, Netherlands and Italy. The research involved an extended and complex project interview collection, analysis and interpretation; the study of unpublished archival, museological materials and objects dating from the middle ages to the present; and the development of in-depth case studies, discourse analysis, longue durée approaches, object biographies and materially-based art historical perspectives.
