- This paper is part of our work on autonomous driving on ill-defined tracks. It presents a different approach to other (previous and current) work: the method automatically and dynamically selects image colour components for best performance in varying conditions. Our work on autonomous road driving has led to obtaining funding from the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory and QinetiQ as part of the Dstl autonomous Last Mile Resupply programme and was part of QinetiQ's solution to this programme. Our methods are earmarked to be incorporated into future solutions developed by the companies ZipFarming and ZipMobility.
