- This journal paper shows significant positioning accuracy improvement in LED-based indoor positioning technique when optical pixelation is combined with positioning algorithm. The research not only demonstrates theoretical gains but also, for the first time, that inexpensive practical, hardware implementation is achieved. The significance is that the application is quite useful for indoor tracking of the elderly people which is why paper is published in the premier IET healthcare technology journal with citescore 3.1 https://digital-library.theiet.org/content/journals/htl . Finally, the paper is recommended for positioning in medical institutions in https://cyberleninka.ru/article/n/opticheskie-tehnologii-lokalnogo-pozitsionirovaniya-v-zdravoohranenii-analiticheskiy-obzor [in Roshanara[29]].
