- This research studied the relaying technique in cooperative communications, where the power consumption can be minimized, with associated significant impacts on the algorithm design at both base stations and mobile users. The algorithm was the subject of a granted patent (ZL201410247353.1) and a major research grant from National Natural Science Foundation of China (61631004, RMB2,550,000). The research was also presented in IEEE WCNC 2019, (10.1109/WCNC.2019.8885924) and won a best poster award. Most recently the research received industrial funding through collaboration with Huawei (304747-01), where three patents were filed by Huawei.
