- A sole authored monograph based on an in-depth 18 month ethnographic study of older migrants living in France, and follows some on their return to home in Morocco and Senegal. The book explores their experiences as they negotiate their lives, retirement, accommodation and return to their country of origin, and makes a significant contribution to an under-researched topic. The DW request is made on the basis that this lengthy period of overseas fieldwork and subsequent analysis represents sustained research effort by the author.
