- Bowry has led a study of octupole correlations in the radium region using decay spectroscopy with the GRIFFIN spectrometer and radioactive ion beams delivered by ISAC at TRIUMF. His expertise led him to be invited into this collaboration to study octupole correlations using Coulomb excitation with accelerated radioactive beams at ISOLDE using Miniball. Dr Bowry helped with the experimental measurements at ISOLDE in Summer 2018, and he subsequently was involved with the data analysis (that was also carried out by a PhD student at UWS) and in the drafting of this output.
