- This work is the basis for a new prestigious EPSRC grant on "Multifunctional Metamaterials and Antennas" (EP/S007903/1, £0.5M ), under the "RF/Microwave Devices for a Prosperous Nation" call, with only 7 grants funded across the UK (panel date: July 2018). The work led to a new collaboration with a world-leading UK company in diode technology, Teratech Components Ltd. The paper reports the design process and prototype of a multifunctional antenna based on novel metasurfaces.
