- This publication delivers the results of an AHRC-funded, interdisciplinary, fieldwork-led PhD. It draws upon Euro-American and African biblical studies, as well as theoretical, geographical, and thematic studies in anthropology (theory, African, Owambo, landscape, food, gender, embodiment). New Testament texts are interpreted with grassroots participants, and the interpretations analysed in light of local culture and professional Euro-American/African interpretations.
