- This paper focuses on opportunities and challenges stemming from Internet Connected Objects (ICO)-generated consumption data, working with Fibaro UK (krystian.zajac@fibaro.co.uk) and advised by Dyson UK Ltd (kay.yeong@dyson.com), on how this data can be mapped onto strategic choices of product variety. One of the first papers to consider the implications for Supply Chain Management from the development of the Internet of Things or ICOs, it led to funding for £1.1m CONTRIVE and £538k HARRIET projects, as well as the creation of the HAT (hubofallthings.com) and spinoff entities Dataswift and HAT Community Foundation (https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/wmg/business/success-stories/hub-of-all-things/).
