- Contemporary Art in Heritage Spaces is co-edited and introduced by Cass, Park and Powell and includes a substantive chapter by Park, published in 2020. It comprises an edited collection of thirteen chapters by practitioners and theorists.
The volume considers the challenges that accompany an assessment of the role of contemporary art in heritage contexts, whilst examining ways to measure and articulate the impact and value of these intersections in the future. Themes covered include interpretation, heritage research and marginalised histories. Park’s chapter considers ‘The Follies of Youth’, part of the artistic programme of Pavilion, Leeds.
