- The paper provides a synthesis of HiP-HOPS with model-checking at the level of methods and tools which contributed to combined applications of HiP-HOPS with NuSMV in the health services field. This in turn led to further publications. It also provided a basis for a successful application for a British Council (Newton Fund) workshop travel fund in 2016. This British Council Researchers Link UK-China workshop was hosted by Sichuan University, China. This work also led to collaboration (on the topic of model checking cancer protein pathway) with the Zhejiang University – University of Edinburgh. The paper contributes to the BIOLOGIC ICS.
