- This book (and its associated website www.bvimodel.org) represents the culmination of 10 years of research into the means of measuring the impact of memory institutions. It conveys a significant revision of the Balanced Value Impact Model (BVI Model). Plus it documents the underlying co-research in collaboration with Europeana in co-creation of the Impact Playbook, based upon the BVI Model. The BVI Model represents a complex, multi-layered process of ideation, investigation and delivery. The book also presents a number of case studies which reflect the use of the BVI Model in different circumstances.
