- This paper goes beyond the state of the art by introducing a novel SPARE protocol that attempts to solve data loss, delays and resource consumption problems in Delay Tolerant Network based Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks (VANET). The simulation of experimental design indicates improvement from other existing literature. This paper has high significance for computer networks and urban transport community who can use SPARE in Intelligent and Connected Transportation Systems for reliable message delivery and efficient resource consumption.
