- Double-weighted statement
- This research monograph on the pre-NHS hospital system draws upon a wealth of published and unpublished primary sources and is a product of a sustained research effort spanning ten years. At its core is a detailed case study of health care provision in Bristol, one based upon an exhaustive analysis of hospital records held at the city’s Record Office. The subject is treated in depth, and from different perspectives, with successive chapters addressing its social and cultural history and its quantitative development. We therefore request that this output be considered for double-weighting.
