- Published in a top journal on Multimedia, this work is among the first to look at the influence of cultural characteristics on user Quality of Experience and is part of a wider effort to establish that Quality of Experience has a hgihly individualised perspective, as opposed to the aggregated perspective which is dominant in the community. Ideas explored here led to Prof. Ghinea to be awarded a Distinguished Visiting Fellowship and Mission grant by the Royal Academy of Engineering (DVFM1718\1\2).
