- Initialized a new application in networks with mathematicians in the University of Essex with a fully-funded Essex International Visiting Fellowship and a joint publication in Scientific Reports (doi:10.1038/s41598-018-21054-0). The work resulted in a plenary talk “Opinion consensus in networks of agents” at the International Symposium on Applied Mathematics and Statistics (Suzhou, China, 2017) (www.engii.org/conference/AMS/897s3695.html). The proof in the paper forms the foundation to the work on high-dimensional models by a German mathematician in Advances in Applied Probability (doi:10.1017/apr.2017.19). Its implementation in control theory was demonstrated by Russian and Italian scientists in a tutorial paper in Annual Reviews in Control (doi:10.1016/j.arcontrol.2018.03.005).
