- <22> The research involved collaboration with 5 financial technology companies, Ulster and Queens’ University, Belfast and contributed to the PhD of Dr Y Cao who is now employed as Lecturer in Management Science at University of Edinburgh Business school. This research supported successful funding bids for a KTP project with Click Energy (2017-2019, KTP010704, £129,935) and EPSRC Industrial Case PhD Award - Computational approaches to real-time energy (2071-2021). This paper also underpinned an additional interdisciplinary PhD studentship with Ulster Business School, funded by the CME Foundation 2015-2020, £60,000).
