- The GMPR data compression-encryption methods are funded by Sheffield Hallam’s IAB-Innovation Advisory Board and led to awarded patents deriving from International Patent Application PCT/GB2016/050512and commercial trials at DCO AI Inc, Arizona, US. The methods are designed to keep data safe both on a local server and in a cloud-based environment giving users unmatched control of their data security while providing significant savings in storage space and bandwidth requirements. The method described in this paper is focused on video compression representing new IP to be aggregated into the GMPR compression-encryption technologies increasing the commercial appeal of the technologies.
