- This article addresses the particular deportation of Belorussian children for work in Germany carried out in the last year of the war (from early summer 1944). It pieces together the fragmentary evidence of German Army involvement in the so-called HEU-Action, drawing on testimonies and archival records held in Freiburg and Minsk.
