- This paper is a call to arms for the forensic science ecosystem and presented the challenges that the ecosystem face together with potential solutions. The activities suggested and methodology of approach presented in the publication underpinned the funding proposal which successfully established the £10m, 10year Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science (LRCFS) at Dundee University. Over 150 practitioners from across the broad ecosystem, from the crime scene to the courtroom have taken part in interdisciplinary strategic conversations at LRCFS, amplifying the approach described in the publication.
