- Double-weighted statement
- This book consists of a consideration of selected primary sources covering an extended period from the seventh century up to the contemporary era. It is the only substantial work to address the debate about whether the UK should adopt a 'written' or 'codified' constitution through close analysis of this canon of legal texts. It provides a fresh perspective on existing areas of study, also contributing by introducing new material that has not previously been given serious consideration. As such it makes a significant contribution to the study of constitutional development in the UK and internationally.
