- Outcome of a joint research project 'Ultrasound-assisted improved oil recovery' between Aberdeen experimental team, Dr A. Azdarpour from Department of Petroleum Engineering, Islamic Azad University (Iran), and Dr E. Mohammadian from Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (Malaysia). The findings have inspired other researchers to visualize the effects of oil type and model geometry on oil recovery under ultrasonic irradiation in a glass micro-model (e.g. Reza Dehshibi, Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, Iran).
