- With my PhD student, I led the analysis of the fully hadronic decay channel. This includes an optimization of the signal selection, the estimate of the important background from hadronic jets missidentified as tau-leptons, the development of a multivariate analysis approach based on Boosted Decision Trees and the final profile-LLH fit. In addition, we designed and maintained the analysis framework and the input data format for all channels. I also checked the modelling of the critical Z+jets background and improved the calculation of the best Higgs mass estimate from visible and invisible daughter particles (MMC).
