- This collaboration between Universitat Politècnica de València, Institute of Agrochemistry and Food Technology(part of the CSIC), Universitat Jaume I (Castellón) and SHU was funded in Spain by an FPI grant (ACIF/2016/182), a Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sports FPU grant (FPU15/03812), two Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness grants (MAT2014-59242-C2-1-R and AGL2015-63855-C2-1-R) and a Generalitat Valenciana grant (GV/2014/008), alongside a COST-STSM-MP1206-21796. It resulted in the realisation of a sustainable fully bio-based and biodegradable composite able to upgrade agro-food waste.
